2015 Annual Organizational Meeting

Meeting Summary
- Introductions – the executive committee was introduced
- Hand-in-Hand – Don and Carol-Anne Hosler explained the Hand-in-Hand (http://www.stonebelt.org/?pageId=23) program where Stone Belt clients collect cans and other food staples weekly and deliver them to the community kitchen
- Report of the past year activities – more information was provided about the process for installing the neighborhood entrance signs and the Little Free Library. Relevant parties were thanked for their assistance.
- Tentative plans for next year – such events as a neighborhood garage sale and a picnic were discussed. More information will come as the new executive committee gets organized
- Discussion of neighborhood issues: much of the meeting focused on the lack of enforcement of the City’s weed ordinance and the problems with the poker house on Round Hill. The new executive committee will work on these issues next year.
- Neighborhood communications: a plea was made for more residents to provide more email addresses to allow for more comprehensive and timely communications. An explanation of the Facebook and Nextdoor pages was provided.
- Selection of the executive committee for next year: the following residents comprise the Spicewood Neighborhood Association executive committee for the next year:
